Red Kite Yurts was started 10 years ago by Paul Millard who has had a life long interest in the culture and way of life of the nomadic peoples of Central Asia. Starting out with just one yurt which he hired to friends and families for parties and celebrations. Word of Paul's story quickly spread and the business has gone from strength to strength and now boasts a large selection of yurts ranging from 8 foot to 42 foot in diametre.

Paul also runs regular Yurt Building Classes at his workshop in Callander during which he shares his many years of knowledge and practical experience with keen yurt builders who often go on to build their own yurts.
